AuthoringThe SeamlessCMS authoring environment provides rich, Word-like editing tools & functions that create an intuitive editing environment for content contributors. With full support for text formatting, image manipulation, and the ability to copy and paste content from desktop applications directly into the content editor, SeamlessCMS makes content updating rapid and easy. Interactive previews lets editors preview their work as it is being conducted, prior to publishing or progressing in the workflow.
PublishingBecause SeamlessCMS separates the content layer from the presentation layer, editors can confidently focusing on updating content, without worrying about the visual styling. Pre-defined styleguides are automatically applied style to text and content, and layouts are constrained to content areas. This also means that a single piece of content can be published in multiple formats and to different platforms (such as to a website, to a PDF file, or to a mobile phone)
SchedulingSeamlessCMS lets you add content today, and publish it automatically at any future time. Automated scheduling for both content publishing and archiving allows content authors to determine when content is presented on the site and when it is removed. This ensures that date-sensitive information is available only while relevant, and lets you plan entire interactive campaigns when you have time, not when they need to go live. Personalization
SeamlessCMS provides the ability to classify content under different groups. Groups can be defined as anything ranging from a website, extranet or intranet, or even sub groups within these groups, such as different departments or staff groups within an intranet group. Asset Management
SeamlessCMS includes a powerful digital asset repository. The repository lets authors import, browse, catalogue, view and share media assets used throughout your website, intranet and extranet. SeamlessCMS then enforces the workflow based on business rules, with smart notifications that ensure efficient progress and review of workflow items by linking relevant approval steps with approvers, and providing an easy-to-use approval dashboard.
Versioning
The system provides automated versioning and audit trails of all information, content and digital media assets in the CMS at every iteration. Full historic instances of each individual content object, content pages, sections, or even the entire website – can be viewed and reinstated at any time. As well as delving into historical instances, SeamlessCMS enables the website to be previewed forward in time to review any deferred updates already published and scheduled for display at a later date.
Form Builder
SeamlessCMS enables you to conduct 2 way interaction with site visitors via forms. Our form builder provides one of the easiest and most intuitive form building environments on the market today, and enables content contributors to easily create basic or complex custom forms through a combination of standard fields (radiobuttons, text box, etc) and complex fields (date ranges, ranking, file upload, matrix based questions). Users can also control form submition, marking (for test based forms), autoresponders, redirects, reporting, information storage and delivey.
Search
Seamless provides robust search functions for content pages and digital media assets within the CMS. Powerful search functions enable either Meta-Data based technical searches, or standard descriptive searches, and utilising the embedded meta-data functions SeamlessCMS delivers to generate accurate results. All searching is strategically saved for future management reporting and insight.
Security
With granular control of access levels and permissions for each role and system user, SeamlessCMS provides full security that ensures each contributor only performs the role they are responsible for. Upon system login, a smart interface automatically customizes itself to present options relevant to the editor.
Rich Functionality
SeamlessCMS allows content editors to insert dynamic plugins and code elements (such as currency calculators, banner ad systems, news tickers. etc) right into the content during editing. Thanks to the Seamless plug-in manager, developers can now import any code elements imported into SeamlessCMS, and empower content authors to insert these plugins themselves without assistance from IT.
